Isuzu D-Max Single Cab now on market

Isuzu Malaysia introduced its new D-Max Single Cab. With a combination of performance and economy, wrapped in a very practical and durable package, this is a very business segment proposals.

The model is the same health characteristics of the implementation of a double cab version, powered by 3.0l i-TEQ Super Commonrail engine.

D-MAX available on Malaysia markets

With its long cargo bed measuring 2270mm, a versatile D-Max Single Cab is a blessing, businessmen and those at the service industry who have been quick to judge how convenient it is to carry bulky loads of this vehicle. New Perodua SUV - Nautica 4WD

Terios or in Malaysia known as Nautica

Officially, Perodua has unveilled Nautica 4WD - the new Perodua SUV.

Perodua has officially unveiled the name of the new Perodua SUV: the Perodua Nautica 4WD. Shown above is Theophilus Chin’s artist impression of the little SUV which is based on the short wheelbase Daihatsu Terios. The long wheelbase version is also on sale in our local market in the form of the Toyota Rush.

The new Perodua Nautica 4WD will be a CBU import from Japan with Perodua badging and styling, though since the car will be a low volume unit there should not be any major changes with the design other than a minor grille change, as it would not be cost effective to do any major restyling with so little units expected to be sold.


Bookings are open from May 10th 2008 onwards. Also released are some official minor specs on the car - a 1.5 liter DVVT engine (likely the 3SZ-VE in the Avanza and Rush) and a 4WD drivetrain, unlike the Toyota Rush’s 2WD drivetrain. It comes in automatic transmission only and has two colour variant - Medallion Grey or Majestic Black.

Perodua it's likely still continue rebranding outsiders car instead of doing the normal “national car manufacturer” and manufacturing here. At circumstances it will be more doubt about our capabilities to produce our own national car but there are more rebranding project will be growth in Malaysia that will be effect our credibility to be a car makers itself.

MyEG - New way to renew Road Tax

There new way to renew road tax. If before we have to queue a long way to renew road tax. Right now, we have an online services that can help us to renew our road tax without need to queue at JPJ counter.





MyEG has added another service to its portfolio. I’ve written about MyEG before previously, and at that time they offered a few services such as JPJ, DBKL and PDRM summons as well as the ability to renew your CDL driving license online.

About a year later, MyEG has now unveiled a new road tax renewal service. You just enter your insurance details (cover note, etc) and make your payment online using a credit or debit card, and the road tax disc can be delivered to your home or office. If you require to renew your insurance online, it can be done as well with 3 insurance companies - CIMB, Etiqa and Lonpac.

The service charge for the road tax disc renewal is RM2.75. Delivery charges for the road tax disc for the Klang Valley is RM6, and RM8 for the rest of Peninsular Malaysia. For East Malaysia, the delivery charge is RM10.

Call for SAVVY!

Proton is recalling its Savvy cars over a possible problem with regards to the car’s rear-wheel bearing.

The company said a recent inspection has brought to its attention that water could get into the bearing, which could lead to a malfunction.

“The safety and satisfaction of our customers is a primary concern. As a precautionary measure, we are recalling all Savvy’s for inspection and repair,” Proton managing director Datuk Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed said in a press statement.

The recall will affect a total of 34,000 cars. All Savvy owners are advised to take their cars to the nearest Proton Edar or EON service branch for an inspection.

Proton said it would conduct the necessary checks and replacements at no cost to the customer.

Positive :
Good to know that Proton sense the problems and admit their fouled.

Negative :
Buyers will be doubt on our national car. Maybe after this, the national are hard to be sell because of this problems.

Toyota Vios 2007

The new VIOS 2007 had a press preview by UMW Toyota Motor. So, here some summary and picture that I get from some blog that talk about this new VIOS.
